The Karoq is surprisingly competent through bends and corners, giving kudos to the ‘sport’ in Sportline. The steering feels fast and accurate in its gearing and response, without being too busy.
I love a good brand promise, and Skoda's "simply clever" is a wonderful one. It says to me, this car has odd, dorky features that your dad would like. The Skoda Karoq is a top-drawer family SUV, offering comfort and superb practicality for a competitive price. But is it good enough to beat rivals such as th The Karoq's roof is higher than the Nissan Qashqai’s, although the Seat Ateca and Volkswagen Tiguan offer a tad more room for particularly tall people.
